Our Handmade Roasted Vermicelli is crafted using a time-honoured method passed down through generations. Each batch is rolled by hand and slow-roasted over a gentle flame until the strands develop a warm, golden colour and a rich nutty fragrance — the signature of truly authentic seviyan.

Unlike machine-made alternatives, handmade vermicelli has a slightly uneven, artisan texture that absorbs milk, ghee, and sugar beautifully — giving your kheer, meethi seviyan, and namkeen seviyan an unmistakably homemade depth of flavour.

How to use

For meethi seviyan (sweet): Heat ghee in a pan, add the roasted vermicelli and stir for 1–2 min. Add warm milk, sugar, and cardamom. Cook on low heat until tender and creamy.

For seviyan kheer: Bring full-fat milk to a boil. Add vermicelli and simmer on low heat, stirring often, until thickened. Sweeten with sugar, add elaichi and crushed nuts.

For namkeen seviyan: Sauté onion, tomato, and spices in oil. Add vermicelli with measured water and cook covered until fully absorbed.

Storage tip: Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container after opening. Best used within 3 months of opening.
